Faisal Abou-Nasr
Owner & Patent Attorney
Faisal Abou-Nasr founded Nasr Patent Law LLC in 2020 with one goal in mind: To make patents more accessible to the inventors of all shapes and sizes.
With over a decade of experience, Faisal has had the pleasure of working with clients ranging from individuals to Fortune 500 companies. He specializes in preparing and prosecuting patent applications for electronics, machinery, tools, medical devices, optics, software, and mobile applications. Faisal has also helped clients obtain patents in many other fields and enjoys learning about new technologies – it’s the best part of the job!
Prior to founding Nasr Patent Law, Faisal was a patent attorney at two of Omaha's most prominent intellectual property boutiques. He was also previously employed at a university technology transfer office, where he negotiated contracts and assisted with developing and commercializing medical technologies. His experiences while working with in-house personnel at the technology transfer office continue to help him provide clients with unique solutions that are aligned with their business objectives.
Faisal holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska (2009) and a Juris Doctorate from Creighton University School of Law (2012). Faisal is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is also admitted to the Nebraska Supreme Court and the U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska.
